DANIEL DE LA ROSA
FOUNDER. BUILDER. CURIOUS HUMAN.
I like the part
where an idea
becomes real.
I'm Daniel, a self-taught builder studying Information Technology Management. I like turning problems I understand into software people can actually use.
Kinary Health grew out of my experience with family caregiving. It’s my main focus: a platform in development to help families organize medications, appointments, care notes, and communication.
My current prototypes explore supported conversation with TalkTogether, personal information with Orange Vault OS, and a reporting workflow I know from work with DeskBrief.
There’s room for play, too. 3D Gift turns memories into a small interactive world. RENANT is my creative side project, bringing an independent clothing label into a custom storefront and 3D experience.
I use AI to explore ideas, develop code, and review my work. I still have to choose the right problem, understand the tradeoffs, and test what I build. The tools help me move. The decisions are mine to own.
How I build
01Find the real friction.
Kinary starts with the work of coordinating care. DeskBrief starts with repetitive reporting. Before building, I ask: who is doing this task, what gets in their way, and what would make the next step clearer?
02Make something tangible.
I turn the idea into a focused flow someone can try. For DeskBrief, that meant checkpoint submissions, duplicate tracking, and a supervisor view. Design, code, and AI help me get from the question to a working prototype.
03Listen. Adjust. Repeat.
I check the flow on real devices, review what breaks, and use feedback to shape the next version. DeskBrief’s core flow was checked on an iPhone, but it remains a local, synthetic-data prototype. A working demo is a starting point, not proof of production readiness.
Something in mind?
An idea, a collaboration, or a good reason to say hello.
